Mounties in Manitoba say six folks from a number of international locations had been caught final week making an attempt to illegally cross into Canada from america.
Police say the group was noticed from the air crossing the border on foot close to Emerson on Jan. 14.
Officers say some weren’t dressed for the freezing temperatures, and an ambulance was referred to as to make sure their security.
The six had been from Jordan, Sudan, Chad and Mauritania.

The arrests come amid heightened issues over unlawful border crossings.
