A teenage woman was asleep in her Thompson, Man., dwelling when a person broke in and sexually assaulted her, police say.
Members of the native RCMP detachment have been referred to as to the scene round 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, the place they discovered the person contained in the Ashberry Place dwelling. The sufferer had fled to a neighbour’s home earlier than police arrived.
The woman was alone on the time of the break-in, police stated, and the suspect and sufferer knew one another.
