RCMP are investigating an uncommon snatch and seize of money from a financial institution in Nanaimo, B.C.
It occurred round 1:45 p.m. on Friday, on the 6908 Island Freeway North BMO department.
Mounties stated the client was within the strategy of receiving the undisclosed sum of cash from a financial institution teller when a person who was standing in line snatched the money and fled.
Neither the client nor the financial institution teller had been harm, police stated. The suspect didn’t make any threats or produce a weapon, RCMP added.
The suspect is described as a six-foot three-inch-tall man who was carrying darkish garments, sun shades and a black COVID masks.
He was accompanied by a lady carrying gray sweatpants and white runners.

The pair could have left in a dark-coloured pickup truck.
