TORONTO – A staff bunting contest in spring coaching took a chew out of Blue Jays supervisor John Schneider’s pockets however proved to be a worthwhile funding Tuesday in a 5-3 win over the Washington Nationals.
Will Wagner bunted his means on to first base as a part of a three-run second inning. Schneider pointed to Clement as an completed bunter with catcher Tyler Heineman an all-rounder who “can do some little bit of every thing.”
