Laurence Fishburne has defined his absence from The Matrix Resurrections, revealing that his provide to return was rejected.
The actor, who performed Morpheus within the unique trilogy, was a notable absence from the divisive fourth instalment, which reunited Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss.

He added that whereas it’s “nice” that Morpheus is “most likely the function that I’ll be greatest remembered for”, it’s “not the one factor I’ll be remembered for, which is best”.
