With the specter of extreme storms and flooding all through the area, Center Tennessee colleges are canceling courses Thursday.
Cheatham County Faculties was among the many first to shut. The district mentioned in a launch that every one extra-curricular actions and prolonged daycare may even be canceled.
The district’s board assembly scheduled for Thursday has been postponed till April 10 at 6 p.m. at Sycamore Excessive Faculty.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for portions of Middle Tennessee forward of a week-long interval of storms. The watch is in impact from 7 p.m. Wednesday via 7 a.m. Sunday.
A twister watch was issued for Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Perry and Stewart County till midnight.
