LONDON (Reuters) – Britain is anxious by China’s “harmful and destabilising” exercise within the South China Sea, British international minister David Lammy mentioned on Monday.
“We’re involved by harmful and destabilising actions by China within the South China Sea,” Lammy mentioned in a publish on X. “The UK and world financial system is determined by these commerce routes being protected and safe.”
In a video accompanying his publish, Lammy mentioned: “The Philippines is on the sharp finish of this (Chinese language actions), going through frequent challenges to freedom of navigation and worldwide regulation.”
