WESTVILLE — Two Westville residents have been arrested after police say they left a number of kids, one solely 5 months outdated, residence alone.
On Friday Feb. 21, at roughly 10:02 a.m., Westville Police Officers have been dispatched to the 600 block of West Foremost St. for a welfare test of juveniles presumably left residence alone unattended.
Upon arrival, officers situated a number of juveniles, all beneath the age of 5 with the youngest simply 5 months outdated, who had been left residence alone. Officers contacted the Illinois Division of Kids and Household Providers who responded and took custody of the youngsters.
Officers then situated and arrested the mom, recognized as Melissa Caudill, and father of a number of of the juveniles, recognized as William Taylor. Caudill and Taylor have been transported to the Danville Public Security constructing the place they have been booked for Youngster Endangerment.
The general public is reminded that each one suspects are presumed harmless till confirmed responsible in a courtroom of regulation.
