A pair of Winnipeggers are dealing with a whopping 20 fees between them after a site visitors cease led police to arrest them for weapons offences.
Officers patrolling in North Level Douglas noticed a taxi Wednesday morning containing two passengers who weren’t sporting seatbelts. The car was pulled over on Euclid Avenue, and police observed a .22-calibre bullet on the again seat.
A search of one of many passengers, a 21-year-old girl, led to the seizure of a BB gun, whereas an extra search of the car turned up a loaded, sawed-off .22-calibre rifle.

The lady has been charged with a number of firearms offences, together with two counts of carrying a hid weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motorcar, possessing a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition and two counts of failing to adjust to situations.
A 25-year-old man — the cab’s different passenger — faces comparable fees, in addition to a number of counts of failing to adjust to probation, situations, and a launch order.
Each suspects stay in custody.
