A Winnipeg man is in custody after a double stabbing Tuesday night, police say.
Officers have been referred to as to the scene on Keewatin Avenue round 6:50 p.m., the place they discovered a pair of victims — a 26-year-old lady and a 37-year-old man — affected by stab wounds. Each have been taken to hospital in unstable situation with critical accidents.
Police say the victims knew the 33-year-old suspect, who fled the scene earlier than hopping right into a taxi heading towards the 800 block of Major Avenue. Earlier than exiting the taxi, the person allegedly robbed the driving force at knifepoint, police say.
