MELBOURNE — A lady in a wheelchair was fatally injured Thursday night time when she was struck by an SUV as she tried to cross a metropolis road, Melbourne Police mentioned.
The 55-year-old Melbourne girl, who was not additional recognized, was attempting cross Hibiscus Boulevard at Medical Park Drive at about 6:27 p.m. Thursday, when a blue Audi SUV touring east struck her, police mentioned.
Melbourne Police arrived to search out the lady within the highway with life-threatening accidents. She was handled by paramedics on the scene after which transported to Holmes Regional Medical Heart, the place she was later pronounced lifeless.
The 53-year-old driver of the SUV, who’s from Palm Bay, was not charged and was not additional recognized. Investigators don’t consider alcohol or medication had been concerned. An investigation is ongoing.
